Me - Suzanne

Me being arty with my self portrait

A bit about me: my name is Suzanne; I am based in Katoomba, NSW, Australia. I am an ex career girl (well still a career girl, but not in the office and getting paid), I have worked for the ABC

(Australian Broadcasting Corporation), News Ltd.’s, CareerOne.com.au as a producer and lots more. I have experience in film/video, multimedia and photography.

While working at the ABC I became pregnant with the girls, I had the choice to come back to work after I had the girls, however due to no family to help, the distance I live from work, and the cost of childcare, it was not an option for me at this time. So now I am a stay at home mummy to my lovely twins.

I started Mummy to Twins blog as a project for me to work on and a way to document what is happening with me and the twins. As a producer of websites I love being in charge of my own site and building it to be bigger and better.

The blog and our other social sites is my way of building a community about twins, children, life and the wonderful stories that happen as a mother.

I now have a Master in Project Management with a specialisation in Strategic Project Management Implementation, check out my post about graduation.

I am also a contributor to the wonderful website Mums Lounge – the lifestyle website for mums.

    Hi,

I just wanted to say hi, I’m a mum of 6 year old twins in Tarana ( from Katoomba). So nice to meet (so to speak) a mum of twins too. I look forward to reading your blog.

    Cheers,
    Lori

Hi Lori, nice to meet you as well, and thanks for the comment, good to hear from a fellow Katoomba local. Hope you enjoy the blog and wow 6 year old twins. Do you have boy/girl or the same sex twins? Mine are identical girls. My girls are four in September so that is amazing to me, cannot believe it has been four years already. I imagine that now they are six you have some more me time?

I just got back from hanging the clothes on the line, my hands have just started to defrost… it is cold but sunny. I just hope the black cloud stays away and the blue sky remains.

Thanks and keep checking out the site for new things.
